Kids in Sahuaripa-area elementary schools were recently invited to participate in a jaguar-themed drawing contest. They were asked to express how they would like to best contribute to jaguar conservation in their designs. The results were interesting – with most of the children using symbols specifically to prohibit shooting and trapping jaguars. One entry even picked up on the importance of protecting females. We’d thought we’d share a few of the selections with you here.
