Jaguars, magnificent predators that they are, have vanished throughout much of the Americas, especially in their northernmost range. That’s where NJP comes in: We’re working to bring back the jaguar, and you can help.
The Northern Jaguar Reserve encompasses 78 square miles of prime jaguar habitat just 125 miles south of the Arizona border. Creating the reserve was our first step. Looking next toward the ongoing protection of the land and its residents by securing a permanent annual source of funding, we established a Stewardship and Long-term Management Fund. Donations to this fund provide for guardianship of the jaguar population and maintenance of the reserve, as well as for making inroads toward ecological restoration.
